It is okay. You have to make sure what type of numerical test that you will take. I find the material of this book is quite different from what I have been tested on.

Absolutely fantastic comprehensive book: a guide to passing any math exam and gaining knowlege of how math works.

This is an absolutely fantastic comprehensive book. The book is divided into three sections: beginner, intermediate and advanced. In each section there are exercises for you to do- then a walk through to demonstrate how the question was solved. It is a great way to learn math- it is more than getting the correct answer but increases your problem solving skills and as a result will improve ability to work more quickly under pressure to complete an exam. I would highly recommend this book for anyone studying for an exam- students and those who want to pass entrance exams to enter professions that require numerical reasoning as part of a selection test.
I used to be very limited in my knowledge of math - and I had spent a lot of money on tutors. Now that I have the book- I no longer need a tutor and am enjoying math for the first time as an adult learner.
